IT Infrastructure Technician

KAIROS Impulse is hiring an IT Infrastructure Technician to help operate, secure and evolve its information system, which supports a growing number of artificial intelligence projects.

Reporting to the Systems & Network Administrator, you will be responsible for:

IT Fleet Management

• Install, configure and maintain workstations, laptops, printers and peripherals
• Keep the hardware and software inventory, as well as licenses, up to date
• Prepare and roll out new workstations

Windows Server 2022 Infrastructure

• Administer Active Directory (users, groups, OUs, GPOs)
• Manage DNS, DHCP and NPS/RADIUS services
• Manage file and print servers, including access rights
• Monitor servers, backups and updates

Networks & Security

• Administer the LAN/WLAN network (switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi 802.1X)
• Operate the firewall and VPN access
• Help detect and handle security incidents

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Manage accounts, licenses and security (MFA, conditional access) in Entra ID
• Administer Exchange Online: mailboxes, shared mailboxes, transport rules, anti-spam
• Manage SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams: sites, permissions, sharing
• Manage devices with Intune: enrollment, compliance and configuration policies, application deployment

AI Project Infrastructure

• Provide and maintain the environments (workstations, servers, cloud access) that artificial intelligence projects rely on
• Ensure secure access and protect the data used by these projects

Documentation

• Write and maintain technical procedures and infrastructure documentation

What We're Looking For

• Higher technician diploma / Bachelor's degree in IT (networks, systems or equivalent)
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong command of Windows Server 2022 (AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, NPS/RADIUS)
• Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 (Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Entra ID)
• Solid foundations in networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, Wi-Fi) and IT security
• Interest in artificial intelligence and its business applications is a plus
